Alexis & Danielle - Delille Cellars Wedding, Woodinville, WA

Capturing Alexis and Danielle's wedding was one for the books!  No part of the day felt like work, instead I felt like I was photographing two friends I'd known my entire life.  They let me into their circle and trusted my process.  It is easy to be around these two and I am so grateful I could be there to capture their celebration.  This is a sneak peek at their wedding images, enjoy!

Gracie, Florin, and Emilia - Family Session

The world's cutest family award goes to these three!  I have captured this couple in many different ways over the years, but as a family with Emilia is hands down my favorite.   They're one of the most genuine couples I have ever met and are extraordinary parents.  They're truly a family we admire and are grateful they're part of our lives.

Lindsay - Maternity Session

I absolutely adore this maternity session.  Their style is so classic and I love that they chose this look for their shoot.  The images are so romantic and their connection is so effortless.  The images of Lindsay on her own are definitely favorites of mine. Her white dress was stunning!  Shortly after this session they welcomed their baby boy and I am so happy for them.

Velvet Crush Styled Shoot

When Megan reached out to me with an idea for a velvet inspired shoot, I couldn't resist.  I love the simplicity of the set up and how the texture and colors of the velvet take center stage.  There is something dark and dreamy about it, even against the white wall.  It was a true collaboration and I am thankful I was part of this fabulous team.

Blue Bridal

I've always wanted to shoot at the Gorge, so when Ted and Laurel were interested, I took the opportunity to do a full styled shoot with them.  Chesney from All the Flutter really outdid herself with the sweetheart table, perfect for two!  Their blue hues perfectly matched the river cutting through the desert.  I couldn't have been more happy with how this shoot turned out and am so thankful for the entire team that made it happen!

Couple: Laurel Witt, Ted Capell

Shauna - Maternity Session

When we shot Shauna and Dane's wedding a few years ago, I would have never imagined we'd become such close friends.  Shauna is such a kind person, it was hard to not stay in touch.  Now two kids later, we have seen each other's families grow and continue to support each other.  Shauna, who is also a gifted photographer, has been a source of inspiration to me.  There's nothing like the support you get from another mother, and I feel lucky she stopped by the studio for these portraits.

Dasha & Steve, Wedding, Fairmont Olympic, Seattle

The couples that we shoot hold very special places in our heart.  We witness one of the most important days in their life, and it's an honor to capture those moments.  Dasha and Steve were particularly special for me.  We didn't know them before they hired us, but I was able to shoot Dasha's bridal portraits & boudoir images before their big day.  That time with her really stands out.  It was so wonderful connecting with her one on one.  I knew their wedding was going to be visually spectacular, but beyond that, it was bursting with heart.  To meet these two is to love them.  I am forever grateful to Rebecca from New Creations for bringing them into my life.  I am looking forward to seeing what the future holds for this amazing couple!

New Creations Wedding Planner Headshots - Seattle, WA

I recently had the pleasure of photographing the ladies of New Creations.  They're Seattle’s only wedding planning company specializing in Filipino, Chinese, Japanese, and Hawaiian weddings, however they'll happily work with anyone. Their approach is warm and genuine, and one of having a friend help you plan your wedding rather than a hired company.  Offering everything from Full Design & Planning to Final Planning & Day-of Coordination services, I've seen what these talented women can do. With our over 13 years experience, they are knowledgeable, professional, and really fun to work with!

Amanda & Philip, Engagement Session - San Francisco, CA

Amanda and Philip met and fell in love in San Francisco, so when it came time for their engagement session, we knew we had to go back to where it all began.  We spent the day exploring their old stomping grounds and talking about their upcoming Seattle wedding.  I loved hearing their stories and seeing the city through their eyes.  This trip was such a treat for me and I'm so thankful to have this beautiful couple in my life.

Alexis and Danielle, Engagement Session - Discovery Park, Seattle

I knew upon meeting Alexis and Danielle that I was going to love every second of working with them.  They are energetic and are one of those couples that just seem meant to be.  Their session was filled with laughter, cuddling, and tender moments.   I couldn't be more pleased with these images or more grateful for the chance to spend the afternoon with them.

Regina & Ken, Maternity Session - Seattle, WA

There is something very special about getting a message that one of our wedding couples is expecting their first child.  I have had the pleasure of shooting this beautiful couple many times since their engagement, but their maternity session is one of my favorites.  These images are so simple but absolutely stunning.  Regina is glowing and the sweetness between her and Ken is undeniable.  I am so grateful I was able to capture this time for them.

Welcome 2017!

2017 is officially here and we want to take this time to thank our friends, family, and clients for their endless encouragement this year.  Photography brought Evan and I together ten years ago and the connections we've made since then continue to shape our lives.  In 2016 we continued to grow and push ourselves creatively.  I shot in my studio more than ever and collaborated with some amazingly talented people.  We are grateful that so many people have invited us to capture such intimate moments in their lives.  What a honor to be trusted with such important events.  We sincerely thank you for your support.  Wishing everyone a Happy New Year!

Our beautiful NYE shoot was created and styled by the following creative team.  Kaleb Norman James,  Yessie Libby, JES Design Studio, and Grey & Cake.  Models: Hanna Gebrehiwet, Andrew Stebliy (SMG), Mikaela Basurto, and Victoria Vasyuk.

Dasha & Steve, Engagement Session - Discovery Park, Seattle

Dasha and Steve's engagement session at Discovery Park is one of my favorites from this year.  It was the perfect fall day and I felt like I was walking through the park with old friends.  I remember meeting them for the first time and was instantly drawn to their warmth and sincerity.  Their wedding is tomorrow and I cannot wait to capture their day!

Camille's Family Session, Bainbridge Island Ferry- Seattle, WA

Meet the adorable Coco and her parents.  I had the best time with them on the ferry for their end of the summer shoot.  Coco is bursting with personality and it was such an adventure to watch her explore the ferry.  They're expecting their second child and I love how this shoot perfectly captures where they are now...just months before they become a family of four.  I'm sending so much love to this darling family and hope you enjoy their photos!

April & Nik, Wedding - Axis - Seattle, WA

April and Nik's celebration was everything I love about weddings.  It was elegant, fun, and full of personal details.  We made a last minute decision to do their photos at the Seattle Public Library because it decided (in true Seattle fashion) to rain the moment we left the Four Seasons...but I'm so glad it did!  The photos there are some of my favorites portraits ever.  We then headed to Axis and did some more photos around Pioneer Square.  Everything was beautifully coordinated by the couple and included many details made by Nik.  The Hora is always one of my favorite parts of Jewish weddings, and this one was no exception.  It was an incredible day celebrating these two wonderful people.  Congrats April & Nik!

Lila & Steven, Wedding- The Arctic Club - Seattle, WA

I recently delivered Lila & Steven's albums and it was so fun remembering the day with them.  They're such a sweet, beautiful, and kind couple. Their wedding was spectacular and was a true reflection of their bond.  The ambiance of the Arctic Club was perfect for their wedding.  I couldn't be happier for Lila and Steven and cannot wait to see what their future holds!

A special thanks to the fabulous team of vendors who contributed to this wedding!

Jillian, Boudoir - Seattle, WA

Boudoir continues to be one of my absolute favorite things to shoot.  Jillian messaged me about doing this as a gift for her husband, but it was also something she wanted to do for herself.  I think that's what I like most about these types of sessions.  I love connecting with women, shooting them one on one in the studio, and ultimately helping them see their own unique beauty.  I'm so excited every time I deliver a session and love the reactions to the photos.  Having images that make you feel good about yourself is important.  My collaboration with Jillian was perfect.  I think these photos are a wonderful expression of who she is.
