Camille's Family Session, Bainbridge Island Ferry- Seattle, WA

Meet the adorable Coco and her parents.  I had the best time with them on the ferry for their end of the summer shoot.  Coco is bursting with personality and it was such an adventure to watch her explore the ferry.  They're expecting their second child and I love how this shoot perfectly captures where they are now...just months before they become a family of four.  I'm sending so much love to this darling family and hope you enjoy their photos!

April & Nik, Wedding - Axis - Seattle, WA

April and Nik's celebration was everything I love about weddings.  It was elegant, fun, and full of personal details.  We made a last minute decision to do their photos at the Seattle Public Library because it decided (in true Seattle fashion) to rain the moment we left the Four Seasons...but I'm so glad it did!  The photos there are some of my favorites portraits ever.  We then headed to Axis and did some more photos around Pioneer Square.  Everything was beautifully coordinated by the couple and included many details made by Nik.  The Hora is always one of my favorite parts of Jewish weddings, and this one was no exception.  It was an incredible day celebrating these two wonderful people.  Congrats April & Nik!

Lila & Steven, Wedding- The Arctic Club - Seattle, WA

I recently delivered Lila & Steven's albums and it was so fun remembering the day with them.  They're such a sweet, beautiful, and kind couple. Their wedding was spectacular and was a true reflection of their bond.  The ambiance of the Arctic Club was perfect for their wedding.  I couldn't be happier for Lila and Steven and cannot wait to see what their future holds!

A special thanks to the fabulous team of vendors who contributed to this wedding!

Jillian, Boudoir - Seattle, WA

Boudoir continues to be one of my absolute favorite things to shoot.  Jillian messaged me about doing this as a gift for her husband, but it was also something she wanted to do for herself.  I think that's what I like most about these types of sessions.  I love connecting with women, shooting them one on one in the studio, and ultimately helping them see their own unique beauty.  I'm so excited every time I deliver a session and love the reactions to the photos.  Having images that make you feel good about yourself is important.  My collaboration with Jillian was perfect.  I think these photos are a wonderful expression of who she is.

Kelly & Michael, Engagement Session - Snoqualmie Pass, WA

It was a beautiful day at Alpental for this snowy shoot.  Kelly & Michael looked fabulous (although I'm sure they were freezing) and I even scored some pancakes from the Pancake House.  Pretty much the perfect day.  I can't wait for their wedding next year!

Molly & Jon, Axis Pioneer Square - Seattle Wedding

It's hard to know where to start when writing about this wedding.  It was full of heart, kindness was abundant, and the little moments were as important as the big ones.  Weddings are full of things to do, people to see, and traditions to follow.  Sometimes it's hard to stay in the moment with those things swirling around you, but Molly & Jon were able to.  It was a pleasure from beginning to end to capture their celebration.  It's weddings like these that make us love what we do.

A special thanks to Amanda Rose for her thoughtful planning and design, to Axis for always being  pleasure to work with, and Iris and Gold for amazing hair & makeup.

2015 Angela & Evan Photography Year End Review

Lauren & Greg - Kiana Lodge Wedding, Poulsbo, WA

Lauren & Greg’s wedding was one we’ll never forget.  Visually it was stunning and the weather was perfect, but there was more to the day than just that.  The ceremony took place at “Granny’s” a beautiful home on Bainbridge Island that felt like it was a thousand years old.  It was filled with treasures from generation upon generation and I could have spent the entire day listening to the stories about each one.  Granny, the house, the memories that had been created there, that bond and focus on family is what made this wedding special.  As someone who values family above all else, I was so impressed with Lauren & Greg’s ability to create such a gorgeous and grand affair, while still remaining sentimental and focused on what really matters.  There was surprise after surprise…a getaway boat from Granny’s home to Kiana Lodge, next Conan O’Brien delighted guests as he introduced the couple into the reception, and finally a full fireworks show.  It was amazing and we were truly honored to capture such  a magnificent day.

Mara & John - Sleeping Lady, Leavenworth, WA

Shooting Mara & John's mountaintop wedding at the Sleeping Lady Resort was simply a dream.  I can honestly say we enjoy all the weddings we shoot, but I felt such a connection with these two and love their photos.  One image I particularly admire is of Mara and her dad at the end of the aisle.  Their embrace warms my heart and I can feel his love for her within it.  The whole day was effortless and authentic.  We want to wish this beautiful couple all the best in life.  Congrats Mara & John!
